Rino Virus (The Common Cold in Humans)
Can you catch a cold from your Gordon Setter? Can your Gordon Setter catch a cold from you? Not really. First of all, humans and dogs carry 2 different cold virus's. A dogs virus will not invade a human and the human virus will not invade our dogs. However, if you have a cold, and you kiss your dog, then Aunt Martha comes along and she kisses your dog, she could catch your cold without ever being in the same room with you. Your Gordon Setter can be a carrier, but will not be sick with your cold. Then again, a cold may not be the WORST thing you could pick up from your dogs kisses!
