Happy Birthday Mom....I love you

I'm going to , if you'll pardon the pun, "Stray" from Kennel business today
to wish my Mom a Happy Birthday.

She was born, Baby Ruth Wilkinson, and she is my best friend and biggest supporter.
I love the picture above. She looks very stylish, don't you think?

This is me with my mom. I was only 6 months old.
She is younger in this picture, than my daughter is now.

I like this picture too. I think she looks really pretty here.
She's got the most beautiful blue eyes you've ever seen. Kind of reminds me of Elizabeth Taylor.

This is Mom and I when we went to Paris Island, South Carolina to see my brother graduate from boot camp in the Marines.  You can tell we had a great time!

This is Mom with her husband, my step father, Doug. They've been married almost 40 years.
They were really happy in this picture.
They were just about to leave for a big trip to Australia and New Zealand.

This is Mom today, with my daughter Michele. This was Easter when Mom and I were imparting our motherly wisdom about how my daughter should handle raising 3 boys. As you can see, all good advice starts with a glass of wine.....or some whine at least.....or both.

Mom has changed her hair color a few times through the years, but she has never faltered in her love of God and Family.

I love you Mom. No one could ever take your place! Thanks for always being there for all of us.

♥  Happy Birthday  ♥
