Winterizing for your Gordon Setter too!

This fall when you start rolling up hoses and winterizing your home, don't forget to check your Gordon Setters outdoor house, if he has one, and his kennel area. Right now while the weather is still nice, it is a good time to check for any holes in fencing, broken plastic or wood, loose hinges and screws, and proper insulation for warmth. If he has an outdoor heating pad, check for loose or broken wiring. Make sure it is working properly and heating up to the correct temperature. In Montana, the weather really takes a toll on anything that is outside year round. My husband is constantly repairing something. Make sure your kennels are in good shape for winter, for the safety and well being of your Gordon Setters.
