Amber Bear Inn

Photo's By: Karen Thomason & Tim Herring

If you've read my blog, you know that we have dinner a lot at the Amber Bear Inn. The Amber Bear Inn is a charming bed and breakfast at the end of a dirt road, in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by tall pines and abundant wildlife. In other words, in Paradise. They have beautiful rooms and run seasonal specials. The restaurant is open to the public most days. We go there for the food. There's only a few miles of forest between the Amber Bear and where we live, so it's very convenient for us. They have wonderful meals with fresh crisp salads, fresh baked cheddar biscuits, delicious entrees, and sweet deserts. There's a pretty little pond with ducks, geese, and even deer. Elk and bears wander through often. The restaurant has large windows so you can take in the beauty while you have a relaxing dinner. And they even have a little souvenir shop! The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and hospitable. If you haven't experienced the Amber Bear Inn yet, we highly recommend you try them.
