Have You Seen Head Tremors in Gordon Setters?

One of our Gordon Setters, "Happy", has head tremors. Out of nowhere, his head will start shaking and for just a moment he seems out of control with a tremor. It can cause him to step a little sideways or lean over slightly. Just when you think he might fall over, he comes out of it. The whole incident lasts about 5 seconds and then he is fine. Our vet says that they do not yet know why this happens and that it does not hurt him what so ever. I got on the internet and did a search on "dogs with tremors" and found countless videos, posted on You Tube, of dogs with this problem. Most of these documented cases on video, are far worse than Happy's. Funny thing is, all these dogs were terriers and bull dog types. No Gordon Setters to be found. Our Gordon, Happy, is the only Gordon we have seen or heard of with these tremors. If you've got a Gordon Setter having tremors, I'd love to hear from you. And if you have a Gordon Setter with head tremors, don't let it scare you. Just watch your Gordon so they don't lose their balance and fall somewhere that could seriously injure themselves.
