Grouse Season is looking good for Northwest Montana. Weather has been warm enough, at the right time, for the chicks to get a healthy start. Don't forget to keep your Gordon put up, until the chicks are big enough to fly. Give them a few weeks before you turn the dogs lose. They face tremendous odds of survival, as it is. If the weather doesn't turn nasty, we should have a good hatch.
