Reflective Collars/Sleeves May Save Your Gordon's Life

One of the best things you can do to keep your bird dog safe, is put a reflective collar, or reflective collar sleeve, on your dog. Whether your dog is lose or not, hunting or not, get one of these reflective collars on your bird dog. Whether at home, or on a walk, or in the field, it may save his life. I have them on all of my dogs. If one should get lose and chase a flying grouse across the road, the collar my protect him from being hit by a car. If we're in the field, it may protect him in thick brush where it is hard to see a black and tan dog. And there is always the possibility of a trigger happy big game hunter shooting your dog when grouse season and deer season cross. It happens. I use red reflective collar sleeves from Scotts Dog Supply. They are easy to use, lightweight, and fairly tough. Slips over the collar and I believe they reflect for about 1 mile. You can order them online. They are about $4.00 a piece or 6 for $21.00, plus S & H. Worth every penny!! Be sure to ALWAYS have your name and phone# on the collar as well. Especially if your dog doesn't have a microchip. Note: No affiliation with Scotts Dog Supply
