I got an email from AKC telling me it was Pet Fire Safety Week. They have some great tips on their web site for keeping your pets safe in a fire, and from fire when they are left alone at home. They also provide a link to get a free I.D. sticker for your window which identifies how many pets may be inside the home. This will help the firemen know to look for your pets.
