Some Gordons like water and swimming, some do not. It is not unusual for them to be either way. I have a Gordon who loves to wallow in any mud puddle he comes upon during hunting. He loves it! He will hit it at a full run and slip through it as if it were a Slip & Slide. But he's not big on swimming in the river or lake. I think it's too cold for his taste. Gordon's do not have a heavy coat, like a Lab, for duck hunting, therefore do not make good duck dogs. But some Gordon's love the water. Take your Gordon for a swim today.
