Have you ever noticed your Gordon in a sitting position, with one front leg up and against his chest, paw hanging down? My Gordon Setter, "Happy", does this when I've been gone all day and arrive home. He sits and holds his leg up, paw hanging down, until I approach him. In dog language, this is a greeting. Simple as that. He is being ever so humble with his greeting. I love it. No matter where I've been, what I've been doing, it's great to get this sweet hello from Happy when I come home.
